Brean Down (future location?)
The first time up on Brean Down for a few years, as we continue searching for interesting locations + ideas for recording + soundscapes. It's very weather and people dependent there, but with various natural and man-made sheltered areas available. The possibilities are definitely there (it was peak of the holiday season after all) so we will be returning in the quiet of winter.
It reminds us of 2010 when we successfully filmed + recorded (in between friendly but curious dogs) several acoustic guitar pieces on a very quiet Middle Hope, a place we knew well. Despite it being mid-Summer (and hot) it all worked well,
This 'blind dog sessions' video + recording later featured on our (recently rediscovered) youtube channel, attracting 30k+ viewers + some kind comments. Unfortunately between us + youtube the 3 videos were lost at some point.*

(*) UPDATE: on 2 December 2024, el.bee (after much fruitless searching) finally managed to find the original blind dog sessions videos, which are to be republished on youtube (on the twangcorp channel) on 7 December 2024.
