Listing developments, thoughts, gigs, rehearsals, videos, posts etc.
Anything concerning our current + upcoming musical activities will be here including updates on the current intensive phase of composition, transcription, arrangement and recording - all of which is currently occupying much of our time.
Sales continue through Reverb and eBay, details of which are in this section, even if items are not listed here.
Listing guitar, gear and studio gizmos direct again, nevertheless, feels like taking back control. We are gratified to have 100% feedback from twangCORP customers as well as from Reverb + eBay. We are thankful for many glowing testimonials from our friends + clients worldwide over the years. We are a direct commissioned seller and act as an agent dealing with privately owned guitars, as such we take this selling business seriously.
Confusion following the 'relaxation' of CITES rules on guitars seems to be abating, enabling us (cautiously..) to place international sales back on the menu.
EU selling, unfortunately, has become far more difficult for us since 2020, but with sensible discussion we can make most things work; or at least try to.
In mid-2024 Mo phased out guitar tuition and group workshops commitments to concentrate on a mounting backlog of his compositions, arrangements, transcriptions and musical projects (some in abeyance since the 2020-23 pandemic impact on music performance.
Later in 2025 Mo intends to make time (projects permitting) to take on a limited number of committed private guitar students interested in exploring the less travelled paths where jazz, classical, folk, blues and other contemporary/traditional forms bump up together on the fretboard. The learning process becoming necessarily more advanced + specialised than previously.
To facilitate this initiative 'distance learning' is also on menu for 2025, maybe via a separate dedicated website depending on the possibilities of our new hosting arrangement. Get in touch next year if you are interested to arrange a chat to see if Mo can assist with your musical journey.
Meanwhile twangCORP is also in the process of retrieving, editing, re-formatting and updating the music theory and guitar technique pages that were a key part of earlier twangCORP websites. We hope to soon find a (stable) space for them within this new minimal website so twangCORP can once again be a musical resource (see update below).
UPDATE DECEMBER 2024: the 'learning' page has been moved to alt-twangcorp to become part of its 'resources' section.
