migration full update

After 3 days with no crashes or quirks it seems to be OK (albeit with a bit of lateral scrolling with some gallery images that we will try to resolve). Overall, however, it's a step forward.

Most noticeable is the, unplanned, sidebar free design. The 'three stripes' now have an increased role in site navigation) and enable us to rethink the previous sidebar content that we had come to rely on.

This latest change can be regarded as an 'interim service' to enable us to experiment during our 30 day trial period. If we can avoid the dreaded 'full service' in that time then so much the better. As such we will frequently be posting or pulling down content in searching out the best solution. In other words, if things suddenly vanish we apologize in advance!

Disclaimer: our Mac based IT is showing its age, but for various reasons (not least its stability with certain software) we try and keep it going regardless. We were recently told by an 'IT expert' that our system is now considered "ancient, at best antique", a view frequently echoed online, alas. But as long as it works we will try and continue using it.

Surely lo-tech (
"slo-tech" as LeStrade might call it…) still has a place; we know our Revox B77 + co think it does?

We'll get there in the end.
